Thank you to Councillor Mathew Wallens who visited us yesterday. Shared his journey to being a councillor and then played Monopoly with the young people and staff.

It was a pleasure to meet you and wishing you season festivities and a happy new year!

Next Gen AP 2025 Open Event at our Wolverhampton Base

It was an amazing and busy day with guests from The City of Wolverhampton Council, Telford and Wrekin Co-operative Council, Dudley Metropolitan Council, and Walsall Council.

We had teachers, council representatives, professionals, charity leads, behavioural consultants, keyworkers, Post 16 managers, SEN Advisors, school representatives, AP Heads, Academy Trust Leads as well as parents and young people from our provision.

We had a tour of our provision, time to mingle, showcase charities and organisations located at The Work Space – ASAN, enjoy an amazing lunch from Shimla Balti, tea and cake with plenty to go around as well as share our Next Gen AP vision.

Special thanks to The Honourable:

• Councillor Eileen Callear, Madam Mayor of Telford and Wrekin Council
• Councillor Craig Collingswood, Mayor of City of Wolverhampton Council
• Councillor Pete Lee, Mayor and Gloria Lee, Mayoress of Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council
• Councillor Alex Dale of Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council

Thank you to everyone who attended and also those who sent their apologies.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my team at Nuneaton and Wolverhampton for preparing this event but also the amazing work they do daily with our young.

We look forward to supporting young people across the cities and counties of West Midlands.

Our Year 11s just had an amazing opportunity! ✨ They visited North Warwickshire and Hinckley College on Tuesday 4th November for personalized tours tailored to their interests. Some explored the world of Hair and Beauty 💇‍♀️, others got a glimpse into Cabin Crew life ✈️, and our future engineers checked out the technical workshops 🔧. It was wonderful seeing our students so engaged and excited about potential career paths! The college staff were incredibly welcoming, and our students came back full of questions and inspiration. These real-world experiences are exactly what helps them make informed choices about their futures! 🌟
