👾✨ Sneak Peek into Pastel Cuties Studio ✨👾
Our June class started today!
We drawing MONSTERS… but not the scary kind 😆
Sometimes our challenges can feel like climbing a mountain ⛰️Sometimes they can feel like fighting a monster 👾
Today, the children created their own unique monsters using pastel art and imagination. Some were funny, some were cute, and some were a little mischievous!
As we drew, we talked about how challenges are part of life. They may look different for each of us, but they help us learn, grow, and become stronger 💛
And perhaps the best part?
Not all monsters have to be scary.
Sometimes our challenges can be colourful, friendly, and even a little bit cute ✨
🌿 Every monster tells a story.
🌿 Every challenge helps us grow.

☕✨ Cardboard Tea Party Fun! ✨☕
Who knew toilet rolls and cereal boxes could become a delicious breakfast?
Today, our little makers transformed recycled materials into a wonderful pretend-play tea party. Using creativity, scissors, glue, and plenty of imagination, they created:
☕ Cappuccino cups
🥓 Crispy bacon
🍳 Sunny side up eggs
🍓 Juicy strawberries
Every breakfast set looked different, and that was our favourite part 💛
At Neighbourhood Studio, we love showing children that creativity doesn’t come from expensive toys—it comes from imagination ✨
What would be on your dream cardboard breakfast plate? 😋

🤝✏️ Teamwork Drawing Challenge! ✏️🤝
Our last play session ended with a mission that looked simple at first…
Draw together using ONE pen 😆
But here’s the twist 👀 Each child held a string connected to the pen — which meant everyone had to work together to keep it steady!
Sometimes we had to pull tighter…
Sometimes we had to relax…
All while trying not to make the pen fly away 😂
We started small:
1️⃣ 2️⃣ 3️⃣
Then moved on to letters…
And finally… a smiley face with HAIR 😎✨
There were lots of giggles, teamwork, concentration, and “WAIT WAIT TOO FAST!!” moments 😂
A wonderful activity to practise:
✨ communication
✨ teamwork
✨ balance
✨ patience
And most importantly — having fun together 💛

🌀✨ DIY Spinner Challenge! ✨🌀
In our last play session we turned simple recycled materials into our very own spinning toys — BeyBlade style 😆
Using bottle caps, cotton buds, and LOTS of creativity, each child designed their own unique spinner.
Some were colourful 🌈
Some were speedy ⚡
Some looked completely wild 😂
We love seeing how every child adds their own personality into their creations 💛
The longest spin today reached an impressive…
✨ 4 SECONDS ✨
Not bad for recycled bottle caps 😎
Who knew a tiny spinner could bring so much excitement, creativity, and laughter?
🌸🐦 Spring has officially arrived at our studio! 🐦🌸
Today we turned simple toilet rolls into the CUTEST little birdies ✨
With colourful body, lovely feathers, and lots of imagination, every child created their own unique spring bird.
No two birdies looked the same — and we absolutely loved seeing all their creative ideas come to life 💛
From sparrow to other colourful birds, our studio was full of chirping creativity today 😆
Who knew a toilet roll could become such a cute little friend? 🐦✨
☀️⏰ We made our very own SUN DIALS today! ⏰☀️
Yes… real ones! 😆
The children explored how people used sunlight to tell the time before clocks even existed.
Once the sun comes out, we can place our sun dials outside and watch the shadow move throughout the day 🌞✨
A little bit of science, a little bit of creativity, and lots of fun together 💛
Now everyone is waiting for sunny weather so they can test their creations at home!
