πΌ It's that time.... Our annual Christmas treat at Pennells, the children loved looking at all the Christmas bits and enjoyed a treat in the cafe, where once again, we were told how beautifully the children sat and behaved whilst having their drink and snack.

π Fireworks Week! π
This week has been full of oohs and aahs as we explored our firework theme through lots of messy, creative fun! β¨
π« We explored with sparkling salt pictures, watching the colours spread like fireworks.
π¨ We got messy with paint printing to make colourful firework bursts.
π Our coloured rice trays were perfect for scooping, pouring, and exploring textures.
π₯Then we made spaghetti bonfires, gluing and sticking bright flames together.
Itβs been a week full of sensory play, creativity, and lots of excited little faces π

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW!
Nursemaid's Elbow (also known as Pulled Elbow, Radial Head Dislocation, or Elbow Subluxation) is a common minor injury which affects children under 5 years.
Pulled elbow is a partial dislocation of the elbow. It's when the lower arm (radius) becomes partially dislocated of its normal position at the elbow joint. It occurs when a child is pulled/lifted by one hand or wrist, or swung around in a circle in play. It can occasionally occur after a fall.

Today our toddlers went on a woodland adventure π»π³.
We wandered through the woods collecting daisies, buttercups, forget-me-nots, and sprigs of cow parsley
Once home, we threaded our flowers into card flower pots, practicing our fine motor skills and making beautiful natural displays. π
