Pre-school survey - have your say!

With our new Headteacher starting 13 April, we will be launching applications for the pre-school (for children the term after they turn 3) at the start of May, ready for a September start. We’re delighted to introduce Stephanie Beardmore, who will be leading our new school as we prepare to open our doors in September 2026.

Starting a new school is a special moment, and post National Offer Day on the 16th April, Stephanie is looking forward to meeting the children and families who will help shape its story from the beginning.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll share more information about what you can expect as we get closer to opening. We’ll also be holding community meetings, where you’ll have the chance to meet Stephanie in person, ask questions, and learn more about the exciting journey ahead.

We are holding an in-person open event at Hucknall Flying High Academy tomorrow (Weds 7th Jan) at 4pm. Hucknall Flying High Academy was the first new school we opened in collaboration with Nottinghamshire County Council. Hucknall has gone from strength to strength, achieving Outstanding in all areas in its first formal Ofsted inspection last year.

Tomorrow's event is an opportunity to hear from Karl Clowery, Hucknall's Headteacher, along with the Deputy CEO of Flying High and other key members of staff.
