Here are my top tips for today:
📚 1. Read the question carefully
Underline key information and make sure you answer exactly what’s being asked - not what you think it’s asking!

📚 2. Show all your working
Even if you don’t get the final answer, method marks can add up - so write everything down clearly.

📚 3. Check your answers if you have time
Silly mistakes are easy to make under pressure - a quick check can be the difference between a grade!

Hi, I’m Jess! I’m a Biomedical Science graduate and have been tutoring for the past 3–4 years alongside my university studies. Over that time, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of students, supporting them through their GCSEs and A-levels, both in person and online.

I specialise in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and I tailor each session to suit the student’s individual learning style and goals. Whether it’s building confidence, boosting grades, or preparing for exams, I’m here to help every step of the way.

Teaching has become a real passion of mine - I love seeing my students grow in ability and confidence, and I’ve enjoyed helping many of them take the next big step in their academic journeys.

I previously tutored through Tutorful, but now I offer private 1:1 tuition, which allows for even more personalised support.

Looking ahead, I plan to study Medicine and continue my own academic journey — so I know exactly how important good teaching and strong foundations can be.
