At school age children attend the Pre-primary or Primary class and eventually, should they wish, they can begin working through the Graded Exams. The good thing about taking RAD Higher Grades exams is that students are awarded UCAS Tariff points which they can use for entrance to University or Higher Education so if they choose not to follow a career in dance, they have gained highly valued credits, not to mention the grace and poise that goes hand in hand with ballet training.
