What a special visit this week! 🌟

We were delighted to welcome Andy Abrahams, the Mayor of Mansfield, to Futures - where he had the chance to meet some of the incredible people we've supported into jobs through some of our programmes.

From Alfie, now in a catering role at King's Mill Hospital, to Robert, who's found his feet with a lighting firm - and the wonderful Jayne, who completed our teaching assistant skills course and is now making a real difference at Fountaindale School. Their stories say it all 💙

It was great to hear the Mayor speak positively about our impact. We really couldn't be prouder of our customers.

We're also so pleased how much our Transform Your Futures Programme and Skill to Success programmes, both of which were funded by Mansfield District Council via UK Shared Prosperity Fund, have made a difference.

It was great to see our Adult Social Care learners spend the day with the team at Q Care Assist last week - and what a day it was 🌟

They got a real insight into life as a care assistant or support worker, hearing directly from Q Care staff and from some of the people they support.

The best part? Every learner on this course is guaranteed an interview with Q Care - so this wasn't just a visit. It was a first step towards their next career 💛

Thank you to Q Care Assist and the Department for Work and Pensions - DWP for providing this amazing opportunity to our learners!
