πŸŽ‰What a way to start the new academic year!

Last week, colleagues from across Think for the Future came together for our annual Company Conference, providing an opportunity to celebrate successes, share ideas and look ahead to the year ahead. We were also delighted to welcome many of the new team members who have recently joined us.

As we continue to grow, it's incredible to see so many passionate people choosing careers that have a genuine impact on young people's lives.

Whether they're joining our Inclusion Centre Provision teams, Behaviour & Resilience Mentoring services or central support functions, every new team member plays an important role in helping us engage, educate and empower young people to achieve their potential.

To everyone who joined us this summer, welcome to the team! We're excited to see the difference you'll make.

πŸ’œ Here's to another year of supporting schools, changing lives and creating opportunities for young people.

3️⃣ They say three is the magic number, and it certainly is this month as we say hello to our third new Behaviour and Inclusion Mentor, Lewis.

Lewis' experience in school settings has seen him delivering classroom support and running intervention groups, while also taking on responsibilities as a outdoor activities instructor.

His experiences, in Lewis' own words, have "been invaluable to me growing in confidence, something which I bring to my role and delivery as a mentor". Outside of work, he plays guitar in a band, watches live music and plays football.

As a mentor, Lewis strives to "create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where students feel valued, heard, and understood." He he also goes on to say that he "aims to be a relatable and consistent role model, demonstrating positive behaviours, resilience, and a growth mindset."

Lewis joins Tom and Aisha in strengthening our offering to schools across our network in July and we look forward to seein the difference he makes to our pupils πŸ™Œ

πŸ‘ Celebrating International Youth Day!

Organised by the United Nations, International Youth Day is commemorated annually on 12th August to highlight youth issues on a global stage while also celebrating the potential of youth within society.

The idea for International Youth Day was proposed in 1991 by young people gathering for the first session of the World Youth Forum of the United Nations System in Austria.

Think for the Future is built on a collective passion for transforming the lives of young people and supporting them with achieving their goals, so the meaning behind today means a lot to our team.

If transforming young people's lives is a motivation for you in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
