Inner child healing isn't all sunshine and rainbows. It requires deep honesty, excavation, sensitivity and the ability to develop trust between your adult self and the inner child.
But there was definitely a period where I was very caught up in the "hard work" of it all. I was approaching my own healing journey like a critical parent would - all work and no play.
We need to find that balance. Too much intense deep inner healing work in a short space of time can lead to burnout just as easily as working a 70hr week. Those moments of integration when we're frolicking in nature or playing are just as important.

Dandelions are magickal - their flower represents the sun, the seed head the moon and the seeds are the stars. All parts are edible from flower to root. 🌼
Always thank the dandelion when you're harvesting, blowing seeds, eating etc.
Here are 3 simple spells you can do whilst blowing on a dandelion...
1.) Visualise something you want to manifest / create in your mind. Make it vivid. Say / sing "As the dandelion seeds blow I allow my dreams to grow." As you blow on the seed head imagine that those seeds are scattering to allow your dreams to take root.
2.) Think of something you want to release or let go of (from within or in your life). Say / sing "I release what no longer serves me." Then blow on the dandelion and take a deep breath. Optional: for extra release you could keep the stem, dry it out and burn that too, scattering the ashes.
3.) Think of someone (living or in Spirit) who you want to send a message to. Speak the words into the seeds and then blow, trusting that your words will be carried on the wind to the person you want to connect with.
