We had a fantastic time attending the Nottinghamshire County Show on 9th May, joining thousands of visitors from across the region for a brilliant day at Newark Showground.
Throughout the day, we shared more about our services and celebrated Inspire turning 10 this year, with visitors taking home our special anniversary stickers.
From badge making and bean plant greenhouses to giant Lego and Connect 4, there was plenty to enjoy - and it was wonderful to welcome so many children and families.
Thank you to everyone who came to see us, including Councillor Dawn Justice , Deputy Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council . We loved being part of such a great community event.

We're looking for volunteers to help with this year's Summer Reading Challenge!
Every year all Inspire libraries take part in the national Summer Reading Challenge. Children aged 4 β 11 are challenged to read six books over the summer.
We are looking for volunteers aged 14+ across our libraries to encourage children to join and complete the Challenge, explain to them (and their parents and carers) how it works, talk enthusiastically with them about the books they have read, and help them to choose new ones!
Volunteers will need to be free for a two/three hour session per week during the six week school holidays.
Up to the challenge, or know someone who might be? Find out more and apply at your local library: https://bit.ly/3Kzq16P

Some of the Inspire College 16-24 Students at our Eastwood base were recently visited by Stop Loan Sharks England ! πΈ
Vinnie from the Stop Loan Sharks team gave us some really valuable advice for our young people on the dangers of borrowing from loan sharks, the consequences around this, and where to get help.
Here you can see our students pictured with Sid the reformed loan shark! π¦π
This is a great example of how Inspire College prepares young people not just for work, but for life β¨
