Cake Society

****COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS ******

I'm sure you've all seen this a lot now but nominations are open until Monday 9am :D

We haven't had anyone run for anything so far and it would be really sad if the society couldn't carry on next year so even if you're only slightly considering it I really encourage you to go for it as it's a great opportunity :)

**COMMITTEE ELECTIONS**

We've extended the deadline till FRIDAY to apply for committee. It's been a great year being on committee and don't worry if you've not been to many sessions as all of us decided to go for committee without ever going to a session so don't let it put you off! :D :D

Hey everyone!

It was great to meet all of you that came to the sessions on Wednesday. I hope you all had a great time :)

This week we'll be having a skills session on Wednesday 14th. We'll be decorating monster cupcakes and having a go at some cookie monster cupcakes as well. They'll be two sessions running. The first from 4-5 and the second from 5:30-6:30. The session will cost £2 and you take everything home that you decorate so don't forget to bring a container!

Signups for the skills session will be on facebook and I'll post a signup at 12 TOMORROW on our group so make sure you've joined UofN Cake Soc 2015/16 to sign up. Signs up will be first come first served and we only have a limited number of spaces :D

We've had to change our plans for tomorrow slightly as we can't get into the school as early as we'd planned. So, we've organised a Try-It Skills Session for you! :)

We're going to have loads of cakes for you to come and decorate however you'd like and we'll teach you how to make fondant icing roses and many other decorating styles!

Time: 4pm - 5pm
Place: Atrium, Portland Building

Apologies for the change in plan, we'll have more baking sessions later on it the term that you can come to! :)
