💜Today is International Women's Day, and we’re celebrating two inspiring apprentices who are building their careers in the automotive industry.

💟Meet our automotive apprentices. Both say they were a little unsure at first about joining the industry – but once they started, they found supportive teams, great mentors and the chance to build real skills.

🥇🥇We are incredibly proud to announce we are celebrating not one, but TWO Morrisons butchery apprentice award WINNERS during 🥩

🎉Congratulations to Faye Sleight - Best In-Store Multiple Retailer Butchery Apprentice 2025 and
Bradley Davey - Best Meat Apprentice Showing Real Management Potential 2025!

In front of a record audience of over 150 invited guests, Faye and Bradley were presented with a certificate of achievement by IoM Chief Executive Dave Smith (F.Inst.M) and Gwyn Howells, Master of the Worshipful Company of Butchers. Along with the title, they each received a £250 prize and a year’s honorary membership of The Institute of Meat!

🎓✨ Celebration Friday

We’re celebrating this week's David Lloyd Clubs 'Step Up to HOD' Graduation.

On Tuesday, 43 apprentices earned new qualifications, but more importantly, they’ve grown as leaders. From powerful workshop reflections to inspiring words on the importance of happy learners and strong employer partnerships, the day was a reminder that apprenticeships change lives and strengthen businesses.
