Consistency is king. If you are prepared to work day in, day out, you'll probably win something.

Sadly, i find that in modern society, fewer and fewer people are able to do this and want a quick win. Something truly amazing has to be worth working for. The win tastes so much more glorious when you work. It builds character, confidence, resilience, and a strong mindset.

Posted • Interesting weekend at the metropolitan amateur regatta. Good races on Saturday in windy conditions getting a pb and coming 6th in the c final.
Sunday not so good, after being up all night with an upset stomach had no energy for the time trial. Final was better surviving on pancakes and lucozade ended up 3rd in the d final, with a time faster than some of the c final.
Good to get some time trial practice in ready for Henley women's in a few weeks

Posted • Great weekend at Monmouth regatta! Some good races ending with a win in women's band 1 singles on the Saturday and a win in a scratch composite open mixed 8+ on the Sunday which was great fun!
