We are going to perform at the Nottingham Forum for Artistic Research (NottFAR) this week! On Wednesday, 2nd May, at 1.15pm,we perform quartets by Elizabeth Kelly and David Matthews, come hear us and meet these two composers at the University of Nottingham's Djanogly Recital Hall. Free admission.

Our Head of Dept Nick Baragwanath will be working with young musicians in the Netherlands all next week, on ways to perform, compose, and analyse 18th-century music. He will be giving classes at Leuven University and Amsterdam Conservatoire, as well as invited lectures at the Universities of Amsterdam and Maastricht.

Our head of department, , will be presenting another ‘Building a Library’ on BBC Radio 3, this time on recordings of Berlioz’s intriguing concert opera ‘The Damnation of Faust’. The programme will air at 10.30 on Saturday 24 February.
