What a night! 🪩✨

We hope everyone had an amazing time at the PFTA Disco — the dance floor was full, the energy was high, and the moves were… unforgettable! 💃🕺

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible staff and wonderful helpers who gave up their time to set up, serve, supervise, tidy up (and possibly recover!) to make the night such a success. We simply couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

It has, however, made us realise one very important thing… we have absolutely no idea what kids’ taste in music is these days 😅 We thought we had a solid playlist — turns out we were about 20 years off in places! That said, we were delighted to hear some of the “classics” making a comeback — remixed, revamped and reborn with a beat that’s about 300% faster than we remember. Who knew our old favourites would return as dance anthems?

All in all, it was a fantastic evening full of fun, laughter and some very enthusiastic singing. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant event.

Same time next year… after we’ve done some serious music homework! 🎶😉

💖🕺 Valentine’s Disco Alert! 💃💖

After the huge success of last year’s boogie, Scargill School PTFA Valentine’s Disco is making a comeback! 🎉

📣 COMING SOON – full details to be announced by the school in the next few days…
👀 There will be a few changes to the format this year following feedback from all parties - details will be provided as above

As always, this event is 100% volunteer-run ❤️
We’ll be:
🍿 Providing snacks
🎶 Providing music & entertainment
😅 Providing enthusiasm, questionable dance moves, and our best attempt at running a disco

BUT… let’s be honest — we’re not pros.
So if you (or someone you know) can:
🔊 Bring proper disco vibes
💡 Supply lights / sound
🎧 DJ like a legend

…and are happy to do so voluntarily or at a very reasonable rate, we would LOVE to hear from you! 🙌
