Yesterday we hosted the Year 3 multi-skills festival. The event was led by a group of Year 9 Level 1 Sports Leaders and attended by over 100 students from Fairfield Spencer Academy.
Thank you to Fairfield for the excellent engagement and participation in the event and well done to all the Sports Leaders who led with confidence, lovely manners, enthusiasm and excellent teamwork.

Well done to our year 9 students who have raised over £160 for British Heart Foundation at their bake sale.

This week we hosted the Year 3/4 GSA Trust Cricket Competition attended by Millside Spencer Academy, Chetwynd Spencer Academy and Glenbrook Spencer Academy. The event was led by nine of our Year 9 Level 1 Sports Leaders who did a great job of scoring, umpiring and leading.
The students played some lovely cricket with superb teamwork, skill and understanding of the game demonstrated throughout the afternoon. Well done to all involved.
Congratulations to Chetwynd Spencer Academy who won the competition and to Millside Spencer Academy who were awarded the fair play award.

Year 10 Drama class went to watch Little Shop of Horrors at Derby Theatre. It was a fantastic show, really enjoyed by students.
