We're delighted to announce that Fig Tree Primary School will be holding our Annual Iftar Party on Friday 13th March 2026 at 5pm!

This is always a very special evening in our school calendar and a wonderful opportunity for our families to come together in the spirit of Ramadan.

Please note: We are limiting places to 150 guests (including children). Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please secure your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

Ramadan is a time of generosity and multiplied rewards. It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, “Charity does not decrease wealth” (Sahih Muslim). Indeed, the best charity is that which is given in this blessed month.

Alhamdulillah, you have been generous in the past in supporting our appeals, and we pray that Allah rewards you abundantly for every contribution. We kindly ask you to please be generous once again this Ramadan.

As part of our strategy to improve our engagement with parents. We are pleased to invite you to an Online Safety and Screen Time Workshop on the 14th January at 2:15pm.

The session will cover:
🔹 Keeping children safe online
🔹 Developing healthy screen-time habits
🔹 Practical tips for managing devices at home
🔹 Guidance on age-appropriate apps, websites, and games

In addition, Nottinghamshire Police will be delivering a dedicated session for adults, focusing on:

🔹 Staying safe online
🔹 Recognising and preventing fraud and scams
🔹 Protecting personal information in the digital world

This workshop aims to support parents and carers in confidently navigating the online world for both themselves and their children.
