Business and Employers 17/01/2024

The High Level Skills programme was a collection of projects that offered dedicated support, advice and funding to help up-skill employees of SMEs and provide businesses with access to the wealth of graduate talent in the area.

NTU worked as part of the High Level Skills consortium to deliver this programme which also included the University of Derby, Derby College, Nottingham College, Vision West Nottinghamshire College, East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Enable and Inspire.

All projects were part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and came to an end in December 2023.

Level 3 Food Safety for Food Manufacturing 25/10/2023

Boost your career prospects with a fully-funded, industry recognised Level 3 Food Safety Award in Food Manufacturing this November.

The course is deal for those who intend to be supervisors in the food and drink manufacturing sector, or for those wishing to progress from the Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Food Manufacturing qualification.

Nottingham Trent University is an approved centre with The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) to deliver this training and examination.

The course content includes:

➡ The importance of understanding food safety hazards
➡ Compliance with food safety legislation
➡ The importance of food safety management procedures
➡ Application and supervision of good hygiene practice
➡ Actions to be taken in light of food safety hazards
➡ The role of the supervisor
