We’ve had lots of referrals recently 🙏 Current students and parents, don’t forget, if one of your friends signs up for lessons at the MLC you will receive an additional lesson free of charge. All they need to do is mention you when signing up and we will ensure that the refer a friend offer is applied.

Calling all local Music Teachers, Schools, Hubs and anyone interested in Graded Music Exams. This Friday (16th Sept), we’ll be joined by our friends from as we host the next leg of their .

The session will provide an overview of the benchmarks used in creating RSL Awards’ Instrumental and Vocal exams from Beginner to Advanced and which are the most efficient ways to support your delivery of RSL Graded Music Exams. The sessions will also be an opportunity to meet with colleagues and discuss different approaches to delivery.
The session will also include insight into RSL’s latest syllabus developments (Group Exams, Classical Guitar and their Certificate in Supporting Learning in the Classroom).

The event will be held in Nottingham city centre, 1-4pm and is free to attend. Places are limited so DM us to book your seat!

Our Open Day is Go!

We have had a very busy morning so far. If you fancy meeting the team and having a go at an instrument, and have a chat to see how we can help you on your pathway, we are here until 2pm.
Entrance is via the rear of the school, postcode LE4 4JG

Please note: - Parking for our open day tomorrow will be at the rear of The Cedars academy, not via the main school entrance. This allows easier access to the Music Department. The postcode to the car park is LE4 4JG.

This can be easily accessed from the A46/A6 and Wanlip Road.
- If you are arriving via the A6, turn off onto Bentley Road. It is a very short drive from the exit via sycamore Road.
- If you arrive via Wanlip Lane, please turn onto Windmill Avenue just past the main entrance.
Both route options will bring you to Stonehill Avenue which heads straight towards the Car Park, Highlighted in the red circle.
