Welcoming Autumn!
Enjoying time for rest after nursery days with stories and sleep play!
After nursery play at the local park and enjoying the progression of confidence on large apparatus and kindness to others.
Creating wonderful Autumn artwork and discussing changes of the season we have noticed, celebrating Halloween with a trip to the allotments, more creative work and play.

September 2025
Floralands farm and garden centre visit.
Learning about animals, observing signs, park play and feeding our furry friends!
Social interactions, physical development, communication and language, independence skills all well developed on a happy fun outing.

After nursery fun, offering a range of activities to enhance learning but also letting them rest and choose independently to have their own creative minds.

Fishing games learning to wind up and down the reels, practice patience to hook a duck/fish
Bike and scooter play enhancing balance and core muscle strength
Picnic play, engaging with a sense of their routines pretending to go to school and then have tea!
As well as social skills at snack times, engaging with older children, taking turns, listening and attention, counting and lots of communication skills.

Indoor sports day!! Some very rainy wet weather but bringing the outdoors in with some sports day games, egg and spoon practice, bean bag balance and bean bag toss, hopping, skipping and jumping.

Had some old friends join us for half term. Was great to see and hear about how they are getting on at school and what they enjoy. We ventured to the muddy allotments and enjoyed lots of nature play in the mud kitchen and water tuff tray as well as painting freely or with stencils. Great social skills, sharing and turn taking and remembering those kindness rules of please and thank you. Plus they were thrilled with the updated messy kitchen!!

Bringing everyday roles to their imaginative play! Large selection of resources such as dress up, hats, handbags, telephones, coffee cups, shoes, bracelets, make up brushes available to enhance their ideas and encourage communication skills, ict play and social skills.

Yay happy exploring the outdoor kitchen! Making some fruit teas for us. Lots of fine manipulative skills developing, strengthening those core hand muscles with whisking, mixing, pouring, turning and more whilst creating her imagination.

Woohoo, messy kitchen upgrade with some new shelves and a stove. Can't wait for them to enjoy this!!

After nursery/school play. Keeping them active and engaged with time for rest too, allowing them to make choices of play and building on their knowledge and abilities.

Proud post, my eldest creating obstacle play for the little ones. Jumping from steps, balance beams, climbing the slide and plenty of cheers.
