What a wonderful first week it has been for our new F2 children!

From exploring their new classrooms and making new friends, to playing, creating, discovering and learning – they have already packed so much into their first few half days at Huntingdon! 🥰

We are SO proud of how brilliantly they are settling in. Lots of smiles, lots of fun and the beginning of a very exciting journey together. 🌟

Our young musicians are already sounding fantastic, building their confidence, learning new skills and having lots of fun along the way! 🎤🥁🎸

If your child would love the chance to learn an instrument, join a band and perform with friends, Rocksteady could be perfect for them! 🎵

No experience needed — just lots of enthusiasm! 🙌

☁️ SchoolCloud & After-School Clubs

Your child will have brought home a letter yesterday with information about signing up to SchoolCloud.

SchoolCloud is our new online booking platform, which you will use to book your child onto a range of school opportunities, including after-school clubs, trips, events and ticketed activities.

⭐ After-school clubs will go live TODAY!

You will be able to log into SchoolCloud and select your child’s club preferences. Please remember that selecting a club does not automatically guarantee a place, as spaces are limited. However, there will be lots of opportunities throughout the year for children to take part in a fantastic range of clubs.

We have a mixture of:
• FREE clubs led by our school staff
• PAID clubs led by specialist external providers

For paid clubs, the cost is £4 per session, payable upfront for the term when your child’s place is confirmed.

📅 Clubs will begin next week.

Please make sure you have signed up to SchoolCloud so you are ready to choose your child’s preferences.

We’re really excited about the range of clubs on offer this year and can’t wait to get started! 🌟

We are so proud of our Nursery and Foundation 2 provision, where fabulous staff, a nurturing environment, and purposeful learning help our youngest children grow, thrive, and shine.
We still have a few places available in Nursery and Foundation 2. Please help us spread the word so more families can discover the perfect start for their little ones. 🌟

🐪✨ Year 4 had a fantastic time stepping back in time during our Ancient Egypt workshop! 🇪🇬

The children had a wonderful opportunity to explore the fascinating world of the Ancient Egyptians, bringing their learning to life through an engaging and hands-on experience. From pharaohs and pyramids to ancient traditions, there was lots to discover! 🏺🔺

What a fantastic day of learning! 🌟📚

Lower School Cinema Night - Year 1, 2 and 3

We are delighted to share some exciting news for our Lower School pupils. We will be holding a special Cinema Night straight after school on:
🎬 Tuesday 29th September
🍿 Film: Toy Story 5
🥤 Popcorn and drinks provided
🎟️ Tickets: £5 each

We have a limited number of tickets available so please purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets will be available to purchase from 8:30am on Monday 14th September in the Big Hall.

Please note that cash payment only will be accepted.

We are really looking forward to giving our Lower School children the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled cinema experience with their friends!

And just like that… our playground is full of adventure again!

Our children have jumped straight back into OPAL Play – building, digging, creating, exploring, climbing, playing and, most importantly, having FUN! 💙

We absolutely love seeing our children using their imaginations, taking risks, working together and making the most of every lunchtime.

Here’s to another year of bigger, better and even more brilliant play at Huntingdon! ⭐
