Pumpkins harvested, not as many as last year but still far too many 😬🎃

Today's roast dinner for the kids shall include our home grown carrots and string beans but some store bought brocolli. We did actually try to grow brocolli but all the bugs thought it was delicious and ate through it before we could, you win some you loose some 🤷‍♀️ 🤣 😋

Weve had so much more success this year with our allotment produce, our cucumbers, beans and peas are still being harvested and filling the little ones snack needs in the garden daily, our pumpkins are getting huge again and i definitely spot my favourite warty pumpkin already! We are prepared and making plans for next years plots since weve finally found our green fingers and arent killing everything off as long as our resident badger doesnt destroy everything before it gets chance to grow 🤣

As usual I was going to give you the two week warning to make sure youve all applied for your codes, but my sisters reminder looks prettier so im doing what sisters do best and sharing her stuff 🤣 Paige's Playcare, Childminding Services FUNDED applicants you have 2 weeks 3 days left to apply so you get to use your funding for the September term, if you leave it too late to apply youll have to wait till January 2027 to be able to access the funding!

**FUNDED CODE APPLICATION DEADLINES**
If you plan to use the goverment funded childcare for 9month - 3 year olds from September - December you need to make sure all codes are applied for and old ones reactivated by 31st of August!! If you miss this deadline youll not be eligiable to use the funded scheme untill January 2027!! We now have just ONE 30 hour funded spot available for 9 month - 3 year old for the upcoming term Monday - Thursdays avaliable! Before and afterschool for Highbank School available aswell as school holiday childcare. So please do get in touch for all your childcare needs x

Green bean rice was a hit for the little ones this week. Cant beat finding a good recipe for the home grown produce and the kids actually demolishing it. Worth all the effort 👌
