The Duchess of Cambridge is starring as a one-off guest presenter on CBeebies 'Bedtime Stories' show, which will be aired this Sunday in the UK.
Catherine will be reading ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of The Dark’ - a story about a little owl called Plop who is helped by others to gain confidence and overcome his fears.
Her appearance coincides with Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week, the charity for which the Duchess is a Royal Patron.

Wow! What a few weeks of recommendations!
Thank you to anyone who has recommended myself as a tutor, it really is appreciated and makes me a very happy teacher to know I am making a positive impact for my tutees education! 🙂
That being said, I am now full for any new students as it stands. I have a few parents waiting on a slot to become available and by all means i’d love to hear from you if you’d too like to join this waiting list but wanted to make people aware that I am currently full.
I will update this post if more slots become available in the future.
Thanks again for your on going support!
Amie 🙂

A really important topic. As a tutor I encourage conversations about diversity and inclusivity whenever the opportunity arises and I’m always in awe at how open my students are! Let’s make sure all children of today grow up in a world where they are open to discussions around race and inclusivity and it is no longer a subject to be avoided!
Whether it’s Black History Month or any other month of the year, conversations about race are as important as ever 🖤
Here are a few ways that you can educate your class about this vital topic.

A central part of my approach to teaching is encouraging children to realise their own potential; turning negative ‘I can’t do it’ thoughts into a bank of positive affirmations children can turn to in times of low confidence! I love this image which shows how we can encourage children to believe in their abilities and realise their potential 😊

Hi :) I'm a qualified primary school teacher (BA Primary Education (QTS)), currently studying a Msc Psychology. Enhanced DBS. I have over two years of private tutition experience. I work with a range of children (aged 5 - 16) on a 1 to 1 basis to support them alongside the national curriculum. All lessons are completely individualised; planned and taught to meet your child's needs, following an initial assessment. I encourage a growth-mindset approach in order to promote academic resilience and growth in self-confidence. Online and face to face lessons within the nottinghamshire area available :) If you'd like to discuss how I can help your child to meet their potential, please do get in touch :)
