New Swim Workout to get your teeth into:

Same warm up as last week getting religions on drills to really get used to them

Main set: 300’s throughout but pace changing from Z2 to Z4 as you work done the ladder. 30 seconds recovery throughout.

Wednesday Swim Workout

Finger Drag -
Drag the fingertips: As your arm recovers, keep fingertips just touching the surface, lightly skimming the water.
Lead with the elbow: Elbow stays high and forward; the forearm hangs relaxed as the fingertips drag.

6-1-6 -
Start on your side One arm extended fully out front. The other arm resting by your side. Body rotated ~45Β° to the side with your face in the water.
Kick for 6 kicks, steady and controlled.
The β€œ1” stroke - one full freestyle stroke with the extended arm. Rotate through the core, not just the shoulders. Finish the stroke so the opposite arm now ends up extended in front.

With the main set break it up how you feel comfortable and more engaged. You could do it how I’ve laid it out or alternate 150m Z2 100m Z5 to keep it fresh.
