Langley Prep School Welcome to Langley Prep School. Children can join our Seedlings baby room from the age of six months.

Langley School is a co-educational, inclusive day & boarding school for children aged six months to 18 years, set across two 100+ acre countryside sites on the doorstep of the dynamic city Norwich. We are proud to be known as a warm and welcoming school, where our unique 100-acre woodland setting is described by inspectors as a ‘paradise for pupils.’

When they are two years old, pupils move into the Acorn class and then at age three go into either the Oaks class or Transition, before moving at age four into Reception and journeying onwards through the school. We are excited to introduce our new Head of Langley Prep School Mr Ed Wood, already a familiar face to many.🎊

As the former Deputy Head of Langley Prep School, pupil, teacher and parent, Ed understands the school from every angle and is committed to helping children thrive.

His leadership style is collaborative and inclusive, shaped by years overseeing timetabling, staff development, key systems and major school events.

Looking ahead, Ed’s vision is one of evolution. He aims to build a community that inspires pride in every child, parent and member of staff, with pastoral care at its heart. His goal is simple: every child should feel known, supported and challenged, and able to find their place at Langley Prep.

Congratulations to Rahin S who achieved an impressive set of results, scoring A*, A* and A in Maths, Design and Technology and Physics respectively. Rahin will be attending the University of Nottingham to study Mechanical Engineering. As part of his degree, Rahin will also benefit from a year in industry.

Rahin’s time in Sixth Form was marked by his contribution to Debating and the thriving Economics Club at the school.

Massive congratulations Rahin. What a brilliant achievement! We hope to see you at the next Icenian event.😊

Today is World Honey Bee Day, celebrating the amazing role bees play in pollination and the environment!🐝

We care for our own bees, giving pupils a practical way to learn about conservation. They love learning about the bees, especially our Nursery children who are very inquisitive.😁
