What an incredible way to round off the school year! 💙💛

Today we celebrated our wonderful Year 6 children as they took part in their Leavers' Assembly. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and, of course, a few tears as we (and they) reflected on their journey and wished them every success for the exciting adventures that lie ahead. We are so proud of each and every one of them.

The celebrations didn't stop there! We were also delighted to announce the winners of our Summer Fayre Young Entrepreneurs competition, recognising the creativity, collaboration and enterprise shown by our children.

Congratulations as well to our newly appointed Head Pupils for the next academic year. We know you will be fantastic role models and ambassadors for our school.

Finally, a huge well done to the recipients of our prestigious Roll of Honour award from each year group. This special recognition celebrates children who have demonstrated outstanding effort, resilience and commitment throughout the term. You should all be incredibly proud of your success.

A wonderful day of celebration, reflection and achievement. Well done to everyone, and we wish our Year 6 leavers all the very best as they begin their next chapter! 🌟🎓

Surprise experience - We were incredibly privileged to be invited as VIP guests to experience our village's fantastic new play park before it officially opens to the community on Sunday 19th.

Our children had an amazing time exploring the exciting new equipment and it was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter and happy faces. This incredible space is sure to become a much-loved hub for local families for many years to come.

A huge thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to bring this project to life and a special thank you to the Play Park Committee for their dedication, commitment and vision in creating such a wonderful play area for our community.

We can't wait to see the park officially open and enjoyed by everyone. What a fantastic addition to our village community.

YEAR 6 - What a fantastic way for our Year 6s to celebrate the end of their primary school journey! They decided they’d rather spend the day making memories with their wonderful teachers (hehe!) and friends than have a prom – and what a day it was!

We started with an amazing adventure at Challenge Woods, followed by a McDonald’s lunch, before finishing the day with bouldering, where they absolutely amazed us with their determination, confidence and teamwork.

A day full of laughter, challenges and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of each and every one of them and can’t wait to see what their future holds. 💙

Last night, the children had a fantastic time bowling to round off a brilliant trip, and we were also treated to a beautiful sunrise this morning.

We’ll be catching the 7:40 am ferry shortly to begin our journey home. Thank you for following along with our adventure this week!

What a fantastic final full day we’ve had on the Isle of Wight!

This morning, we began with a fascinating visit to Dinosaur Isle Museum, where the children enjoyed learning about the island’s prehistoric past and the incredible creatures that once roamed the area. Afterwards, we headed to Sandown Beach, where the children became budding palaeontologists, searching for fossils and making some exciting discoveries along the way.

This afternoon was all about fun and excitement at Blackgang Chine, the UK’s oldest theme park! The children made the most of the rides, attractions and amusements, creating lots of smiles and lasting memories.

To round off our final evening together, we enjoyed a friendly game of bowling and spent some quality time together reflecting on an incredible few days. It’s been wonderful to see the children’s enthusiasm, resilience and teamwork throughout the trip, and we’re sure they’ll have plenty of stories to share when they get home!

We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow!

What a brilliant day exploring the Isle of Wight!

We started our day at The Needles, taking in the incredible views from the chairlift before heading out on a boat ride for an even closer look! Of course, no trip would be complete without a visit to the sand art shop too!

From there, we put on our walking shoes and hiked up to The Old Battery, where we stepped back in time to explore the cannons, laboratory, shell room and gunpowder room. The children have walked, explored and discovered so much today!

Now, we’re all incredibly excited to finish the day with an evening performance at Shanklin Theatre!

A busy day, lots of memories made and still more to come!

Last week, audiences were treated to a whole-school performances of Pan-Tastic and we couldn't be prouder of the children.

They sang, acted and danced their hearts out, delivering a performance that rivalled any West End production. Absolutely amazing!

We’ve been working our way through the hundreds of photos, reliving every magical moment. What a talented group of children and what an unforgettable show!

Day 2 on the Isle of Wight has been truly amazing! ☀️

We have had the best day at Robin Hill Country Park, and the weather has been absolutely glorious. Some of today’s highlights included the toboggan run, the squirrel cage climbing tower, real-life JCB mini diggers, safari boats, the treetop bridge trail and the beautiful floating bridge gardens — to name just a few!

We have kept cool with plenty of drinks, slushies, ice creams and the shade of the trees. 🌲🍦

We are now on the beach, making the most of the last rays of sunlight before another action-packed day tomorrow.

The children have been brilliant and are making memories they will treasure. Please keep an eye on our Drive photo folder, where we will be adding all of today’s photos when we get the chance this evening! 🌊🏖️
