Let the workshop begin..

Hi guys! Just a reminder that our armour building workshop takes place this Friday 23rd with the wonderful Beth Darville aka Miss Demeanour. Please let us know if you're coming along, we can't wait to see everyone there!

This was our ADORABLE washing line set up on Saturday, where we featured Last Level Games, NORCON, GAME Norwich, Athena Games, The Super 8-Bit Power Hour, One Life Left - Norwich Gaming Cafe and a feature from the UEA Speech and Language Therapy Society!

Thank you to the hard-working members of A Study In Fandoms who helped make yesterday's event at The Norwich Gaming Festival a success!

I'd also like to say a big thank you to Abstract Sprocket, Athena Games, The Television and Movie Store and GAME Norwich for their kind donations of wonderful prizes (as well as Hannah-Lital Goldfinch / Small Brit Cosplay for running around collecting and organising this!) for our raffle raising money for SpecialEffect - we are proud to announce we raised a total of £211 and sold ALL of our raffle tickets!

Most of all, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who took part and enjoyed themselves - it was lovely to meet you all and come together to promote the positives of the Norwich cosplay community and raise money for a fantastic cause!

A Study In Fandoms is happy to announce that (to support The Norwich Gaming Festival's chosen charity SpecialEffect) we will be holding a charity raffle on the Saturday of the NGF. All the prizes will be donated by wonderful and generous members of the Norwich community! The full array of prizes to be won from our Jackpot will be revealed next week - tickets will be available for purchase on the day at a minimum of £1 per strip, though any further donations would be really appreciated!

Want to show off your hard work at Norwich Gaming Festival? Email us your skits or photographs (with credit!) and we'll show them throughout the day on our personal table and in the gallery!

It couldn't be simpler to get your cosplay name out there!

Email [email protected] before the end of May for your cosplays and skits to be shown - they don't have to be gaming related!

This year we're teaming up with The Norwich Gaming Festival to host a fantastic Cosplay Masquerade on Saturday 3rd June at The Forum, Norwich!

We're inviting all you cosplayers, young and old to get involved and have some fun! There's some fantastic prizes up for grabs, kindly donated by The Television and Movie Store and the following special A Study In Fandoms trophies are for three other categories!

Happy Everyone! This week, we'd like to take a minute to talk about something a bit different.

Thursday night one of the kindest, caring and most creative people anyone could hope to know passed away, so I'd like to take a moment to say R.I.P Harvey Lewis Truswell.

I'd also like to say a thank you from all of the people much like ourselves who you inspired to create and do great things, you were a positive influence in many peoples lives and I hope your legacy can continue on inspiring people for years to come.
