I used to love climbing trees as a youngster and would encourage it for today's little people. Children tend to know their own limits and playing in the outdoors creates so many opportunities for positive developmental experiences.

Playing outside developes what is on the inside!

I'd love to know you thoughts on this article and on risky play for your children!?

Can anyone recomenned/help with removing the beginnings of a WASP nest in our playshed please.
Can only see one large/queen at the moment. The Nest is about 2 or 3 inched round.

Want to know how to get your young child ready for school?

Let them play! Through play your child learns communication skills, negotiation skills, self control and self resilience. Developes physical dexterity, imagination and the ability to pay attention to details and work out problems.

Play has always been central to my childcare provisions!

You are very welcome to visit and see my children learning through play, everyday.
