You might assume Tombland got its name from burials, but it actually means ‘open ground’ in Old English. This was Norwich’s busy market hub. Today, it’s just a convenient place for students to perfect their ‘fallen dramatically’ poses. 💀

Discovering the famous Norwich keyboard, a hidden gem right in the pavement! Norwich is a city full of surprises and secrets, waiting for our students to explore.

Trying Marmite for the first time… and this student from Italy is definitely not a fan! 😅 Known in the UK as a “love it or hate it” food, Marmite is all part of the adventure. Studying abroad isn’t just about English lessons. It’s about trying new things and discovering British culture along the way!

A very big thank you to the Lord Mayor of Norwich, Councillor Paul Kenrick, for taking the time to visit our students from Vigo, Spain. Mr Kendrick delivered an insightful talk on the role of the Lord Mayor, and the students had lots of questions about Norwich.
