The violin is a wonderful instrument that could not only help you to wind down, it can also open up new and exciting pathways, such as preparing to join one of the many amateur orchestra’s around in Norfolk. Very true- many friends have benefited from free lessons in the past. We wouldn’t have the orchestra’s we have today without it and yet, pupil’s today often don’t have access to good quality music lessons nor free instrumental lessons. I was parked outside a school the other day where there was a team of PE teachers working hard….Envy….Please schools let’s bring back music specialists and help children financially to learn to play an instrument. It will be fun for the pupils and beneficial for the school results…..
