Merlin class represented the school in a football tournament aimed at non football players. We fielded two teams on a rather soggy morning and every single player did the school proud. One of our teams even won the tournament as a whole! Well done to everyone who took part and played, as well as those who came along to help, coach and support.

For remembrance day we have been studying WW1 and what impact it has had on the poppies that we wear to remember those that have fallen. They wrote poems based on what they have learnt and these will be on display at the church for their remembrance service this Sunday.

It has been all about truss and beam bridges today with the children in Merlin class designing and building their own bridges. A record weight of 4kg was reached by one in particular. Not bad for a bridge made of straws!
