Year 1 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Kew Gardens this week as part of their Plants and Growing topic.

During their visit, the children explored the Hive, discovered the Carbon Garden, visited the beautiful Princess of Wales Conservatory, and took part in the engaging Plant Hunters workshop. They had a wonderful time learning about plants, their importance, and the amazing variety of life they support.

It was a fantastic day filled with curiosity, exploration, and hands-on learning.

A huge thank you to all of the parents and carers who volunteered to help on the trip. Your support is greatly appreciated and helped make the day such a success!

The children had an amazing day exploring the zoo, learning about a wide variety of animals and their habitats. They were excited to see so many different species up close and asked lots of fantastic questions throughout the day.

A huge thank you to all of the parents and carers who gave up their time to help on the trip. Your support made the day possible, and we really appreciate it.

It's been a very busy time at school! Here are some photos from our KS1 Sports Day, which took place at the beginning of July. It was a fantastic day, and the children showed great enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork throughout. We are so proud of every one of them!

Unfortunately, we're unable to share any photos from our EYFS Sports Day as our iPad broke. However, all of the children took part, and we're sure you'll agree they all did wonderfully.

A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who joined in with the parents' race – it was great fun and helped make the day even more special. Thank you to everyone who came along to support the children and make both Sports Days such a success! πŸ…πŸŽ‰

🎨 Art Week Doodle Day! 🌟

Today, our school hall has been transformed into a creative art space, with a variety of doodle stations for all pupils to enjoy.

Throughout Art Week, each year group has been inspired by a different famous artist:
πŸ–ŒοΈ Nursery – Piet Mondrian
πŸ–ŒοΈ Reception – Wassily Kandinsky
πŸ–ŒοΈ Year 1 – Yayoi Kusama
πŸ–ŒοΈ Year 2 – Henri Matisse

Today, all of the children will take part in a whole-school doodle session, creating artwork inspired by the artists they have been learning about. We can't wait to see their creativity come to life and celebrate the fantastic artwork they produce!
