I will be exhibiting at Great Northern Contemporary Craft & Art Fair Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair this weekend. I have a few new pieces, like this antler basket, to show. I’m so excited, I love this show. It’s a lot of fun and only 10 minutes away from where I live!! Bonus! Find me in the middle pool on stand B8. In the same room as the bar! Another bonus 😜

Just home from Cardigan What an absolute joy it was! I took very few pictures because it was so busy. Thank you to the people of Cardigan, you were brilliant to talk to! Had some amazing chats. And you came to shop! I have gone home with very little stock and will now be making furiously as it is only a week until my next installation and then event!
Thank you also to my fabulous craft family and It was a blast! You made it so special.

The whole process of making a sculpture is quite long. If you have been on one of my workshops I have probably grumbled a bit about the willow, but I do love it. It takes time and a bit of skill to make it useable and keep it that way. I am just about to put some willow in my tank which will come with me to Craft Festival Wales where I will be for the first year and I’ll be demonstrating! So this willow had better behave. Craft festival is in Cardigan and runs from 11th to 13th September

Throwback to 2017 when apparently it was the hottest build on record. I feel like that has been broken, but if we were there now it’s predicted to be 37 degrees tomorrow in Pilton where the festival is. It’s the only thing making me grateful that it’s a fallow year this year! Shout out to my incredible lady crew that year We rocked it! How is it 9 years ago??
