You may have read that SFJ Awards are discontinuing the Level 5 Certificate in Fire Investigation. This is not the case. The qualification has merely been reviewed, amended and reissued.

Those already qualified maintain their qualification. Those seeking qualification will undertake an assessment which is similar in all respects to the previous one.

GATR continues to deliver the Level 5 Certificate in Fire Investigation qualification and the online Level 2 Award Introduction to Fire Investigation. Both of these qualifications are recommended in the National Fire Chiefs council Competency framework.
