📚 Back to School! 📚

Wishing all of my pupils lots of luck as they head back to school today! I hope everyone has a great first day and settles back into the school routine quickly.

A big well done to those pupils who have continued working with me throughout the summer holidays. Your continued effort and commitment has been fantastic!

Tutoring update:
I am currently fully booked, so I’m unable to take on any new regular pupils at the moment.

Good luck to all of my pupils on your transition day! I hope you all have a brilliant day, enjoy meeting your new teachers and trying new things. For those heading to secondary school, enjoy settling into your new school. It’s a big step but I know you'll do really well.

Hello everyone!

I’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately, sorry! 🙈
That’s because Pinnacle Tutoring pupils have been BUSY!
I’ve been absolutely loving seeing the progress everyone is making. Every pupil is on their own journey, moving at their own pace — and that’s exactly how it should be.
Some are learning to write full sentences, some are smashing their times table facts, and others are developing new grammar skills to level up their writing.
Most importantly, I’m hoping they’re all having fun, growing in confidence, and discovering a real love of learning along the way 😊
More updates coming soon… I promise!

Happy Christmas! 🎄

Wishing all of my wonderful pupils and their families a very Merry Christmas. Thank you so much for all your hard work this year and for being part of the Pinnacle Tutoring family – I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved so far.

A little update too: I’m now fully booked for evenings and weekends, but if your child is homeschooled, I do have a few daytime slots available during the week. If those times don’t work, you’re very welcome to add your child to the waiting list. Feel free to get in touch to chat.

🌟 Watching my pupils learn and grow has reminded me just how powerful curiosity can be!
Whether it’s tackling tricky maths problems or exploring new stories in English, every little “aha!” moment counts.

Working on '1 more, 1 less' with my lovely pupil who, at just 4 years old, never ceases to amaze me!
I love listening to her talk while she is working things out. During this activity, she said that she could 'put the 1 more numicon next to the 7 so that we can see which piece fits on top' and found that it was the 8!

There are so many reasons why tuition is so beneficial and to name just a few, 1:1 tutoring allows children to:
* work at their own pace
* discuss their thinking
* have time to correct errors rather than rushing onto the next problem
* explore resources in front of them and find the ones that work for them
* have the focus of the teacher solely on them.
