A little something different this Friday in the studio, I will be taking photos! Joint event with Emma from Paint and Glaze :-)

Home Education Art Days & Arts Award

I'm looking to gauge interest from local home-educating families for regular creative art days at my studios . They are relaxed and fun days, filled with creativity.

As a qualified Arts Award Adviser and accredited Arts Award Centre, I offer creative opportunities for children to explore a wide range of art forms in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.

🫟 Home Ed Art Camp Days 5 years plus- I could run these once or twice a month
10am - 2pm £35
Children will need a packed lunch.
Explore different art techniques and materials
Work with clay, mixed media, painting, printmaking, cyanotypes and more lots of fun examples on my page.

Alongside these creative days, I can also offer:

🫟 I can also run ‘Discover in a day’ which is part of the Arts award program, its the first step onto the Arts Award ladder and ideal for those starting their creative journey this would be a longer day of 10am - 3pm all children would get a certificate from this under the Arts Award. Children will need a packed lunch.
£45 for his day this is aimed at children 5-9 years old - this can lead on to Explore in the Arts award which is entry Level 3 in the Arts.

For older children or those wanting more of a challenge, I also offer:

🫟 Explore Arts Award (Entry Level 3 Qualification) for children 7 years plus (again a guide)

🫟Bronze Arts Award (Level 1 Qualification) Aged 11 plus.
Both are nationally recognised qualifications validated by Trinity College London and are ideal for creative young people wanting to build confidence, develop their skills and create a portfolio of work.

More fantastic art work today- I was even treated to a fantastic musical number during lunch. Lots of creativity across all art mediums today, yesterday it was gymnastic displays in our lunch time 😂

The children didn’t want to leave so I’ll class that as a successful camp 💪

A relaxed and friendly workshop designed to help parents capture beautiful photographs of their baby using just their phone.

Learn simple tips for lighting, focus, angles, natural posing and capturing those tiny details and special connections during your baby’s first months.

Perfect for beginners — no photography experience needed. Just bring your phone, your little one. Your welcome to bring some different outfits for them, a favourite toy, teddy, blanket etc.

I’m so excited to officially launch Arts Award at Make, Create & Capture Studio — creative qualifications supported by Trinity College London for children and young people who love art, photography and creativity.

Students will explore different art forms, develop creative skills, build confidence and create a portfolio of work in a supportive studio environment.

A fun introduction to creativity and the arts.

Thursdays | 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Saturdays | 1:00pm – 2:30pm

🫟 Bronze Arts Award (Ages 11+)

Level 1 qualification in the arts.

Wednesdays | 6:30pm – 8:00pm

🫟Silver Arts Award (Ages 13+) - More photography focused.

Level 2 qualification in the arts.

Sundays | 1:00pm – 3:00pm

One for the adults 📸

I really enjoyed running this 1-2-1 workshop last week. Focusing on how to use manual settings, understanding the camera and coming off the auto settings. We touched on composition and covered some basic editing skills.
