Where were the Wild Things? They were at Boughton Village Hall searching for words with their monster viewers! The children had lots of fun in our monster themed session last week, especially making their own Where The Wild Things Are masks. Come and join in with the phonics fun! Message us or email: [email protected] for more information.

What fun the children had today painting their own aliens and decorating their alien's pants! We also explored the first letter of our names by tracing them with paintbrushes and chalk, and listened to the different sounds bells make, just like letters do. Great start to the term little ones!

Special shout out to Steff Louise who helped me so much today and Felicity Howlett's superb photos. # # #

Roarsome Readers loves Halloween! We celebrated by reading the classic: Funny Bones and had fun participating in lots of skeleton-themed activities.

I is for insect! Before half term, we looked at lots of creepy crawlies containing the i sound and had fun exploring The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Last week, Lucy Pirateheart made an appearance!
The children enjoyed walking the plank and going in search of treasure (glittery letters of their name and 'p's) to store in their golden treasure chests.

This week was full of surprises but we made it to the t, t, t, tea party! How fun it was to be a tiger eating all of the food until it was all gone!
