This year we celebrated Earth Day by holding a poster competition. The work produced was incredible and it made the job of the eco-committee quite a difficult one. But they eventually whittled down all of the excellent entries to winners for each stage. EYFS and
Reception worked as teams to create some brilliant pictures. They will receive a joint prize to share.
Special mention must also go to Richard who created a fabulous poster all of his own.
The other winners were:
KS1- Noah
LKS2 Azlan
UKS2 Kevin
Thank you to all of the families who supported their children in this project. You will see some additional displays popping up as they were really too good not to be shared and displayed throughout the school.
At Stimpson Avenue Academy, we've been writing poetry on the theme of wellbeing and our pupil Kaiden wanted to share his reading of his own poem.
We hope it brightens up your day as much as it did ours. Well done
Kaiden!

⭐️ Well done Erin, you're a star! ⭐️
Congratulations to our of the Month for April, Erin Hampson, an Inclusion Support Practitioner at Stimpson Avenue Academy!
The colleague who nominated Erin for the of the Month award said: “Erin is a valued ISP and has been very creative in providing support for some of our most vulnerable learners.
“Erin took this to another level by presenting her own ISP workshop, sharing best practice with all of our support staff across two sessions."
Well done, Erin!

Our bedtime story event last week was a huge success, with so many teddy bears visiting school (and grown ups too!).
It was lovely to see so many parents taking the time to join us and share in such an important element of our school life. So much hot chocolate was drunk and so many happy faces were seen. Thank you all for coming!
