We’re delighted to be working with New Horizons Academy, one of our valued school partners, as they get into the festive spirit and raise funds for our charity! 🎁🏫

The school is looking for local businesses who would be willing to donate a prize towards their Christmas raffle. 🎟️✨

All proceeds will go directly towards supporting The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation, helping us provide food hampers, winter warmth supplies and vital community support for local families across Northamptonshire. 💛

Unlocking new skills, one stride at a time! 🐴✨

Our students have been having an incredible time participating in Equine Assisted Learning . Working alongside these gentle animals gives our learners a unique, hands-on way to grow outside the traditional classroom environment.

What Our Students Are Gaining:

Confidence & Self-Esteem: Mastering groundwork and horse care helps students build trust in their own abilities.

Clear Communication: Horses react to non-verbal cues, teaching students the power of body language, focus, and clarity.

Emotional Regulation: Spending calm, intentional time in the stable promotes mindfulness and stress reduction.

Teamwork: Students collaborate on care routines, building empathy and strong peer connections along the way.

Seeing the transformation, smiles, and bonds formed between our students and their equine partners has been truly inspiring.

🐧 A Wild Adventure for Penguins Class! 🌿

Yesterday, our little Penguins waddled over to Wild Meadows for an incredible day of outdoor learning! 🌾

The children had the best time exploring, investigating, and discovering all the amazing bugs and wildlife hiding in the meadows. To top off their wild adventure, they went on a scavenger hunt to collect colorful petals and leaves, using their natural treasures to craft their very own wings! 🌸🍃

1:30 PM hit yesterday and the entire school went completely silent. 🤫📚

To celebrate International Literacy Day, every student, teacher, and staff member dropped whatever they were doing, pulled out a book, and just read.

Look at what Penguins class got up to yesterday in English! 🐧✨

The children explored the front cover of The Lights That Dance in the Night and created their very own wintry scenes inspired by the book. Using pine cones for trees, small toy animals, and a dusting of flour and white paint for snow, they brought the artwork to life with so much detail.

It was a brilliant hands-on way to build descriptive vocabulary and dive into our reading! 🎨❄️
