Friday June 12th - Sports Day!
We are looking forward to our Sports Day on Friday 12th. EYFS and KS1 will run in the morning from 9.30 - 11.30am and then KS2 will run from 1.00 - 3.30pm. Children are invited to wear clothing in the colours of the country representing their class. This is entirely optional, but we would love to see as many children as possible showing their team spirit. Please ensure your child has trainers for the event.

New date for Sports Day!
Due to the weather forecast for this Friday, the decision has been made to reschedule the Sports Day to next Friday (12th June). EYFS and KS1 will run in the morning from 9.30 - 11.00am and then KS2 will run from 1.30 - 3.00pm.

Young people on the Kingsway will benefit from a new youth engagement programme happening early Summer

Groundwork Northants will deliver a six-month youth engagement programme following a £5,000 grant from Greatwell Homes' community grant fund.

The programme will establish a consistent, youth-led outreach presence in Kingsway that supports young people to feel safer, more connected and actively involved in improving their local environment. Experienced youth practitioners will deliver a blended model of outreach and support including environmental action projects, weekly youth work and one-to-one sessions, and signposting to specialist services where additional support is required.

Our Customer Assembly is a group of involved residents and are responsible for choosing where the funds are donated.

The Assembly’s Chairman and Greatwell Homes customer, Pete Allington, said: “As a member of the Customer Assembly, we have the privilege to allocate grants to small, local organisations working to benefit Greatwell Homes customers and this is just another example of the help provided for good causes in our local community”.
