🇬🇧 VE Day picnic 🇬🇧

Yesterday afternoon we celebrated VE Day with a wonderful picnic alongside our lovely families. 🧺

The children enjoyed a delicious picnic of sandwiches, cucumber sticks, cheese, crisps, yummy cakes and biscuits.

It was so lovely to see everyone come together to celebrate, share smiles and enjoy the sunshine together.

Thank you to all of our families who joined us. A lovely day was had by all ❤️

🎩🐣Easter Bonnet Competition 🎩🐣

A huge thank you to all our wonderful children and families for the fantastic Easter bonnets we received for our competition. They were all so creative, colourful, and full of imagination — we absolutely loved seeing them all!

It was incredibly difficult to choose a winner, as every single bonnet was so special. In the end, we made our decision based on which design was the most child-friendly.

Well done to all the mummies, siblings, and families who helped — your hard work and creativity really shone through. You should all be very proud! 💛

Thank you again for making it such a fun and memorable event for everyone at the nursery.

🌼 Spring has sprung 🌼

The children have been making the most of the lovely sunshine this week, spending lots of time exploring our garden and getting involved in fun spring-themed activities. ☀️

Outdoors, we’ve been busy painting in the fresh air, enjoying the climbing frame and slide, and going on little nature adventures spotting ladybirds along the way! The children have also loved balancing and jumping on the large tyres. 🐞

We feel so lucky to have such a beautiful outdoor space for the children to explore, learn, and grow in every day. 🌷

🌺 Happy Mother’s Day 🌺

This morning we held our Mother’s Day Breakfast, and it was such a lovely start to the day! 💐

Our children were joined by their mums and other special people in their lives to take part in a range of activities together. There were lots of smiles while decorating cupcakes, making beautiful flower playdough, planting seeds, and enjoying some colouring time. 🌸🧁

Everyone also had the chance to relax and enjoy a cuppa alongside a croissant with jam and some fresh strawberries. ☕🥐🍓

🎶 Music and movement 🎶

Today we were delighted to welcome Music Go Round for a fantastic taster session with Katy! 🎶
The children had great fun moving colourful scarves to music, tapping sticks along to Wind the Bobbin Up, and exploring a range of instruments while singing familiar nursery rhymes.
There were lots of smiles during Sleeping Froggy and brilliant participation in Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, with the children showing wonderful listening skills and coordination throughout.

A joyful musical experience for everyone! 🌟

We were delighted to welcome our families for a very special Valentine’s Parental Partnership Afternoon. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as we came together to celebrate love, laughter and learning.
We enjoyed lots of fun arts and crafts, including creating our very own adorable Love Bugs 🐞 and beautiful Raining Love clouds.
There was plenty of sensory fun too. The children explored playdough to make cakes, went on an exciting bug hunt in the foam, and had great fun blowing bubbles.
