A fantastic start to the academic year at Abbeyfield School!
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, commitment and positivity shown by our students during the first few weeks of term.
• Over 110 students volunteered at our Year 6 Open Evening, helping prospective families experience life at Abbeyfield through the eyes of our students.
• We have received a huge number of applications for our Student Leadership Team, demonstrating our students' desire to contribute to and lead within our school community.
• Participation in our enrichment programme has been outstanding, with more than 80 lunchtime and after-school clubs available. From bike maintenance and pottery to Minecraft and targeted academic support, students are making the most of the opportunities on offer.
• This week, students have engaged thoughtfully with assemblies focused on Protected Characteristics, an important area that will continue to feature throughout our PSHE curriculum.
It has been an extremely positive start to the year, and we are excited to see our students continue to grow, lead and succeed.
Parents and carers, thank you for your ongoing support. Your children are a credit to you and to our school community.
