Etheree Poetry

The first line has one syllable, the second line has two, the third line has three…concluding with line ten which has ten syllables.

This piece is about my dog, Daisy. I can spend hours watching her on the hunt...She never catches anything.

Thank you to for giving me the opportunity to deliver a workshop on the power of creativity to set our minds free. We doodled, scribbled and wrote our way into a mindful state.

Here is what one participant said:

“Well what an amazing evening we had with David Bowden our new and adopted resident poet 💙

If we were honest we were a little unsure of what to expect but our poetry juices flowed with ideas and doodles and so much love and fun. Many of us found it to be very emotional and even though it may have been outside of our comfort zone, David’s enthusiasm really helped us to face our fears and our poems and drawings were bundled into our handbags with pride 🩷”

I always say words have the power to se us free and I truly believe this.
