Buckton Fields Primary School

Buckton Fields Primary School We are proudly part of the Preston Hedges Trust. We view every child as unique and are det

We joined the Trust as a brand new two form entry school in September 2021. Proud of our eco credentials, positively contributing to the local area, we have strong links with neighbouring businesses and these links enrich and complement the school’s creative curriculum and core values. With a focus on sustainability, we learn about and promote how we can be conscious citizens with a love for the world we live in, and take time out for reading and wellness in our underwater themed reading reef. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, we study natural beauty not only on our doorstep, but also in the wider world and celebrate every child as an individual, inspiring children to be passionate, empathetic and resilient in everything they do. Comments on this page that are in breach of our school and Trust e-Safety policies will be removed.

As the new school building takes shape and we move closer to reopening, we are finalising plans for our Nursery provision. Thank you to everyone who shared their views during our earlier consultation.

We now just need a little more information to help us refine our nursery offer and ensure it meets the needs of our families.
If you can spare a few minutes to complete the survey: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/12V2dWgbiW , we would really appreciate your feedback.

Wow over £7.5k raised this school year 🙌

Thank you to everyone one who has supported us, volunteered with us and those have come along to our monthly meetings

This year the money raised has gone towards Santa Comes to Buckton, the pumpkin patch, the end of year DJ for the disco, the fairytale play, school trips, playground equipment and more

Here’s to do it all again next year 🙌

What an incredibly amazing amount raised 🙌

That was just from 2 hours, finishing the year on a high

Thanks to everyone that came along, the months of prep really is worth it when we raise such incredible amounts for the children 🫶

Year 2 had an amazing time at Multi Skills yesterday. The children took part in a range of exciting activities including football, basketball, jumping, throwing and so much more. They showed fantastic teamwork, determination and enthusiasm throughout the day, and we are so proud of everyone.

Sport is so important because it helps children stay healthy, build confidence, learn teamwork and develop resilience while having fun with their friends. Events like these also encourage children to try new activities and discover skills they may not have known they had.

In the boys’ competition, Buckton proudly took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and in the girls’ competition we proudly took 1st and 7th place.
