In Person or Online – What Suits YOU Best?
In-person personal training offers focused, real-time support – ideal if you want hands-on help, immediate feedback and adjustments, or that in-the-moment motivation.
But what if you prefer flexibility rather than the same time and day each week, what if you, travel often, or have a packed schedule?
💻 Online Personal Training could be the better fit – and I offer that too.
👉 Online Personal Training is still face to face, The training is equally as effective, with the benefit of being able to have your sessions anywhere that you have interest access.
Whether we train face-to-face in your home, at the gym, or online – my goal is to help you feel stronger, healthier, and more in control of your fitness.

Face-to-Face PT – Why It Just Works Better for Some
Some people thrive with in-person coaching. Here’s why:
➡️ You’re new to exercise and want guidance, or,
➡️ You find it hard to stay focused on your own, or,
➡️ You need hands-on help with technique, posture or progression
➡️ You want someone right there, encouraging and adjusting as you go
If that sounds like you – in-person PT might be your perfect match.
I work with clients across Northallerton in the comfort of their own homes, or at Active Life Leisure Club
Curious if it’s the right fit for you? Let’s talk!

The Power of Personal Training – In Person and in Your Corner
If you’ve tried getting fitter on your own and felt lost, inconsistent, or just unmotivated… you’re not alone.
In-person personal training gives you:
✅ Immediate feedback on form and technique
✅ Real-time motivation and accountability
✅ A trainer who really gets you – not just a template to work to
And best of all? You don’t have to go to the gym if that’s not your thing. I offer in-person PT at your home 🏡 around the Northallerton area, or at Active Life Leisure Club.
Let’s train where you feel confident, comfortable, and capable.

40 years ago today I joined the Army as an apprentice in Harrogate.
For those of us at school in Germany they came around the year before, tested us and signed us up when we were 15 years old.
On the day of joining, my Dad was driving me down to Harrogate.
Long before sat-nav’s, Dad had looked at the AA roadmap of Great Britain and knew the best way to get there.
When we turned off the A1 we were only a couple of miles along the road and there was a tree down blocking the entire road.
Dad not being happy at having to re-route (and probably the extra time it would take) asked me if I wanted to just go home - he could be a bit superstitious at times, perhaps this was a sign?
I said no, I wanted to continue.
I met lots of people in the Army, had good times. (I think it was a Tuesday? Yeah, hang on, maybe there was only one good time?)
But when you’re playing some of the fun games like
Dig a trench > wrong place, fill it in and move it 4ft > repeat this process -
Whilst in full NBC gear, in the middle of a hot German summer, you learn to entertain yourself … I seem to remember we were singing “if you’re happy and you know it (in your NBC over-gloves) clap your hands”
And several other modified verses too.
😊
Most people that have served would do it all again, the good and the bad.
All I would say is that if I was to do it all again, on the way if there is a tree blocking the road I’m turning back!
Oh no! I’ve become my Dad! 🤔

Getting a refresher training is not a bad thing.
More importantly if you haven’t had the training before then this is free and definitely worth it
It is a sobering statistic that, for every 10 sudden cardiac arrests that happen out of hospital in the UK, only one person survives.
UK Coaching offers a free online course that teaches you the life-saving steps you need to restart a heart. Together, we can improve the odds of survival and save more lives ⤵️
