However coming up for about a couple of years ago on an internet search I found coaching. I have always felt that my childhood was a very unsettled/turbulent/confusing time. I had been looking for years for a way of bringing my past into my life now and int my future; but in a positive way. As time has evolved I have increasingly found that there are a number of ways in my new found coaching career I can do exactly that. I work with adults who have been adopted and/or fostered and are at a point in their life where they wish to decide whether or not they wish to trace their birth parents. I can support you in a number of ways on your personal journey:

1) I can assist you to decide whether you would like to trace them or not
2) I can assist you work out whichever decision you make; what your decision would mean for you in your life.
3) I can support you to work out what questions you have for your birth Mum/Dad or both. I have a website ninaslifeandmindsetcoach.co.uk. My email address: [email protected]

My most important Values/the work I do with clients
As part of the training I have done as a coach is working on values. For those who may not be aware of what values are. These are things/people/places/qualities about yourself which are important to you.The training I have done has involved reflecting on and talking about what is important to me in my life and describing why these things are important. For anyone potentially wanting to work with me at any time but would like to know my values (what and who is important to me here you are.

Achievement within my work and general things I do
Physical and emotional security
Beauty
Compassion
Knowing (confidently knowing what I am doing)
Trustworthiness
Competence
Meaningful work (it’s extremely important to me that everything I do means a lot; is important to me and is positively benefiting who I am supporting.

Determination (it’s very important to me that I am 100% or as close to 100% determined in the work I do because I work with some people who don’t have as much so I need to hold it for them until they build it in themselves.
Friendships (especially for the purposes of support in my life)
And recognition. I hope this gives you a taste of the sort of person I am.

Now for what I actually do in my work/business so you can read can understand what I do and decide for yourself if the sort of things I support clients with are the types of challenges you are experiencing in your life at present:

Confidence & Independence Coach:
-Confidence to ask questions
-confidence to know what to say and whom to
-confidence to share your opinion with others
-confidence to raise concerns
-confidence to speak up in social situations
-confidence to be as independent as possible
-confidence to support people in your life
-confidence to go out & about in local town for shopping/appointment etc
-confidence to fight for things you believe in

I am so pleased to announce I have signed up to be a campaigner for NSPCC. At this point in time the intel/knowledge I have regarding what they do is the they run various services within the not for profit organisation to prevent children from suffering any kind of abuse. For anyone who may not be aware of what NSPCC stands for National Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

sadly not every abuse situation is prevented by the time charities such as this get to find out about the circumstances. Bearing this in mind, they all provide services to support the children affected by abuse and the families to rebuild their life ensuring the child's safety is at the forefront of everything they do.

I'm feeling encouraged and motivated to find out how this progresses.
