We took our painting outside today! After yesterday's messy play sessions, we decided the playground needed more colour....

We took our painting outside today!
After yesterday's messy play sessions, we decided the playground needed more colour. So we mixed paint with water and used big paint brushes to draw and write all over the playground.
It was great fun watching all the colours mix together and travel along the lines!

The children then created each habitat using resources from around the classroom before placing different animals in each one.
It was lovely to see the children's creativity and them working as a team!

🎈Happy 100th Birthday David Attenborough🎈
In Starfish we have talked about who David Attenborough is and how passionate he is about looking after our outside area. 🌳🪺🌷
So we decided to make him a special '100' using only outdoor materials!
The children had a great time searching for flowers 🌸 sticks 🪾 and leaves 🌿 to then stick onto the numbers!
We all hope that David Attenborough has a wonderful birthday! 🥳
