Busy but fun afternoon of meetings! Did you know that you can use the meeting room Mountain Coffee Haddington for free? Just make sure and purchase some of their amazing coffees and cakes! 🍰 We loved hearing all about East Lothian Adventure Socials from Sarah and it was great to talk all things Forest School with Emma from Woodland Learning Adventures . Look closely at these thin leaves on this Lime tree. They’re not the usual heart shaped leaves of lime but instead they are long slim bracts ‘tilia’ which are attached to the flower and seed clusters. They act like a little wing to help the seeds spin and spread further afield…similar to the samaras (helicopters) on the sycamore tree. Isn’t nature clever?!

Thank-you!!! We had a great day serving teas for the Gifford Flower Show today. Thanks to everyone who helped us by baking or volunteering - not everyone is pictured but we felt so well supported and are very lucky to have had a dream team there today. We are very fortunate, and are grateful for everyone’s support. Thanks to Gifford Horticultural Society & show for organising such an amazing community event and allowing us to be part of it 🤩

What an amazing morning. So many people had put so much work into so many amazing creations! We loved it! So hard picking winners when there was such a depth of talented entries. Thank-you to Gifford Horticultural Society & show for organising such a fantastic event and for our beautiful lunch too! ☺️
