There was lots of excitement in Prep today on ‘Moving Up Day’ - all of the classes had a great time getting to know their new teachers🍎

Congratulations to our Stars of the Week for showing the 3 Rs of Regent each and every day and to our Playground Superstars who have been so helpful and respectful! 🌟

Lots of our friends shared their amazing achievements in singing, cheerleading, swimming, scouts, puppy training, gaming, cycling, dance and football. Well done everyone! 🏆

It’s hard to believe there’s only one more week left to go!

Prep Picnic Party 2026! 🍓 We didn’t let the weather stop us yesterday and had an indoor picnic with games & an ice cream treat 🍦

Prep 7 enjoyed two fantastic days on trips to the Folk Museum and Hillsborough Castle as part of their Victorian studies. ✨🏰

Stepping back in time, the children experienced a day in the life of a Victorian child, exploring their homes and taking part in a traditional school day. We then had the chance to try out roles as staff at Hillsborough Castle.

A wonderful few days of learning and memories made! ☀️

Prep 5 time travelled all the way back to Ancient Egypt today - everyone looked absolutely fantastic! ✨

Our activities included:
✏️ A comprehension task about hieroglyphs and cave paintings.
🧵Fashion designing following real trends of the time.
🪩 A ‘Walk like an Egyptian’ dance break.
🎨 Creating Cleopatra line drawings on real papyrus paper.

All while listening to some themed instrumental music to help us feel truly immersed in our favourite topic of the year! 🎶

Our very ready, respectful and responsible Stars of the Week and Playground Superstars were delighted to receive their certificates today recognising their efforts and great behaviour 🌟

Lots of very talented pupils told us about their fabulous achievements and progress made in Gymnastics, Park Run, Swimming, Football, Dance, Trampolining and Cheerleading 👏

Two of our wonderful Prep 7 pupils were also celebrated for the kindness, patience and helpfulness they have shown when supporting younger pupils in their learning this week. Thank you so much, boys! ❤️

After celebrating a very special 11th birthday this morning, we headed out to bushcraft. The children worked together to build impressive shelters to protect themselves from the elements, and the rain arrived right on cue to put them to the test! They also cut willow and baked it to create charcoal, which we’ll use back at school for art.

This trip has allowed the children to learn so much about themselves. Each child stepped outside their comfort zone, while looking after each other throughout every challenge. From the super activities to the many rounds of toast and countless friendship bracelets made, the children have memories to last a lifetime.

You have made us all very proud and represented our school superbly.🖤❤️

Yesterday we were spotting alpacas, rockpooling on the shores of Strangford Lough, ate ice cream in Strangford and finished the day with a campfire. We loved hearing everyone’s favourite memories from our trip. 🖤❤️

𝙳𝚎𝚕𝚊𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚝 𝙳𝚒𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚜 - 𝙲𝚕𝚒𝚖𝚋𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚆𝚊𝚕𝚕 🧗

Prep 7 took on the climbing wall, with lots of fears faced and some very competitive climbing along the way.

It was fantastic to watch the children’s confidence grow with every climb as they encouraged one another. ❤️🖤

𝙳𝚎𝚕𝚊𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚝 𝙳𝚒𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚜 - 𝙰𝚛𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚢 🏹

We saw some very competitive shooting this morning as the children took part in archery this morning.

Plenty of concentration, teamwork and a few bullseyes made for another great Delamont adventure! 🎯✨

We may have had to dodge a few showers, but it didn’t stop us having a brilliant first day! Beds are made, the Adventure Walk is complete, the Picture Trail conquered and plenty of good food enjoyed by all.

A great start to the trip! 🎒✨
