Yesterday we were invited down to watch the dress rehearsal of the P7 play ‘Aladdin Trouble.’

Well done to all the children performing and good luck for the big show on Thursday.

Another great morning spent with our friends in St. Finian's Newtownards, thank you for kind invite.

Yesterday we had a special circle time📚

Mrs Savage the primary 1 teacher came in and read us the story of ‘3 Billy Goats Gruff.’ We are very lucky to have a strong links with St. Finian's Newtownards and this enables us to support the children as they transition into p1.

Today was our annual sports day.

Over the last 5-6 weeks we have been working hard learning the races.

The children demonstrated great listening, turn taking, sequencing and most importantly supporting and encouraging our peers.

Most importantly we had lots of fun 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

Yesterday we had another fabulous visit from our lovely friend Helena Curran - Music Tutor from Nina’s notes.

We sang, danced and played some instruments. It was a great way to enhance our physical development and the arts.

Today we had an ASPIRE exchange visit with our friends from Bees Nees Early Years Centre.

We played red dog blue dog, played with all the resources, had fun in the sun and read a story ‘Colour Monster goes to school.’

Lots of learning and social interaction from all the children. We can’t believe it will all come to an end soon.

This week we had another wonderful session with Squiggles & Giggles. Lots of music, movement and singing.

Today we had a visit from our lovely friend Mary the therapy pony. Mary is a dwarf Shetland pony who brings so much calm and joy to everyone who meets her.

We brushed her, fed her, put bows in her hair and even got cuddles. Did you know that ponies can hear your heartbeat for up to 4ft away 😱 and we all had a turn at listening to Mary’s heartbeat.

She is one very special pony ❤️
